I just connected the cable from my power supply to my 5070 ti, but I noticed it barely clicked when I pushed it in. I even pushed really hard, but there was still no click sound. From the side, it looks flush with no gap, and it seems fully inserted, but I'm worried since I've heard about some people experiencing melting connectors on their 5070 ti cards.

I personally check the latch instead of waiting for a click. If it's even slightly tilted, it could be either not fully inserted or stuck. If you push down on it and it doesn't look completely flush, then it's probably not in all the way.
LOL, yeah, those PC building channels can make it seem like it has to click every single time. It's pretty misleading with all the click sounds they add in. Just check that it’s secured and you should be fine!
It's actually a common misconception that you always need to hear a click for it to be secure. Sometimes the latch mechanism gets pinched while you're pushing it in, which means it doesn’t click even though it’s seated properly. As long as it looks flush and the latch is positioned securely, you should be good to go!
