Is it normal for my fan to go full speed during a BIOS update?

I recently updated the BIOS on my HP Victus gaming laptop (15.6 inch), and I noticed that the fan was running at full speed like never before. I've always kept my system up to date, and I've added RAM in the past without any issues. Is this something others have experienced?

Yeah, that happens to my work laptop too! It's actually pretty common. The fan speeds up during a BIOS update to ensure everything stays cool while changes are being made. Don't worry too much about it.

Oh, I've never experienced that before. Maybe I just never noticed! Thanks for the reassurance.
