I'm having a bit of confusion with my PC startup. When I turn it on, I see the BIOS splash screen for a few seconds, then the Windows loading animation (you know, the spinning circle of dots) comes up. After that, the screen goes blank, and then I get straight to the lock screen where I can log in. However, there's no Windows logo displayed at any point during this process. I'm using Windows 10 with fast startup enabled, and while I can log in without issues, I thought the Windows logo normally appears during boot. Is this actually normal, or is there something off?

If you're uncertain, you could try disabling the fast startup option in your settings. That should allow the Windows logo to show up during boot. Just a heads-up though, some machines can be super slow to start without it!
Yeah, this is pretty normal! What you're experiencing is a quirk of the fast boot feature in Windows. It's designed to speed up startup times, but it often skips displaying the logo. If everything's working fine, there's really no need to worry about it.

I actually just tested this out and it turns out fast boot was the cause. Disabling it fixed the issue and now everything works as expected. Thanks!
