Is it normal to hear bubbling noises from my AIO cooler?

I've got an AIO cooler on my Ryzen 7800X3D, and while my CPU temps are fine—like around 40°C during light browsing—I've noticed some weird water sloshing or bubbling noises coming from it. Is this normal, or should I be concerned about it? I just bought this prebuilt rig about 10 days ago from a local store, and the sounds are getting kind of annoying!

First off, check the orientation of your AIO cooler. A common issue is having the pump positioned at the highest point in the loop, which can lead to air getting trapped. You want the pump lower than the radiator if possible. Post a picture of your setup if you can! It’ll help others offer better advice.

Every AIO has a bit of air because they’re sealed during manufacturing. If your cooler is oriented correctly, you want that air in the radiator, not the pump. So, check the orientation again! If air gets stuck in the pump, that could lead to some serious problems.

I’m not an expert, but if you’re hearing bubbling, it might mean there’s air in the loop. That's not great, but as long as your CPU temps remain low, you're probably okay. Try to lower the pump speed in the BIOS if you want to cut down on noise without risking performance.
