Is It Okay to Downgrade a New Windows Device from 24H2 to 23H2?

I manage around 50 Windows devices through Intune and would like to maintain consistency across all of them, ensuring they all run Windows 11 23H2. The issue is that when I order a new device, it might come with Windows 11 24H2 pre-installed. If I decide to downgrade it back to 23H2 using an installation stick, will that cause any issues, or is this downgrade straightforward within the Windows 11 family?

You should definitely be preparing your devices with a sysprepped standard image. If you’re just buying them as-is and enrolling them, that could lead to complications later on.

We’re currently importing HWIDs and enrolling with Autopilot without creating sysprepped images. Just using normal images for now.
