Is it okay to leave my gaming PC running all weekend?

I just got my hands on a new 9070xt and accidentally left my PC on all weekend while I was out. When I checked in, the GPU temperature was around 50 Celsius, and everything seems to be running fine now. I'm just wondering if this could cause any problems now or in the future.

If your setup has good airflow, you shouldn't have any problems. Just out of curiosity, have you thought about tweaking your power settings to have the system sleep after a couple of hours of inactivity?

You're safe, trust me! I can count the times I've turned off my PC in the last 20 years on one hand—only during moves and power outages! A solid machine like yours can handle the long hours.

It's totally fine! A lot of people run their systems 24/7 without any issues for years. So, your weekend leave shouldn't cause any problems at all.

No worries! Plenty of folks never turn off their PCs. Just remember that while it's generally okay to keep it running, turning it off when you're not using it can help save power and extend the hardware's lifespan.

Honestly, there are people out there who game for over 30 hours straight without shutting down their PCs. If airflow is good, you're in the clear! Just consider powering it down from time to time to avoid those pesky electricity bills!
