I've been using an AIO cooler (the Xigmatek LK360 Pro Digital) top-mounted, but I'm not satisfied with the temperatures I've been getting. I'm considering moving it to the front of my case for improved cooling. I really don't want to take off the pump to reapply thermal paste since I just installed it about five days ago. Is this a reasonable approach?

It totally makes sense to swap the mounting if you're not getting the temps you want. Just a heads up, though - you might want to check your CPU model and current temps first, as some chips run hotter than others. What are you currently seeing?

I'm using a Ryzen 7 7800X with a mild overclock. I know it runs hot, but the noise level from the AIO is driving me crazy.
