I'm getting ready to pack up my PC soon and I'm wondering if it's safe to put my PNY GeForce RTX 4060 ti GPU back into its original box with the foam still inside, but without using an ESD bag. Should I be concerned about any potential damage? Or would it be better to purchase an ESD bag online to ensure it's protected?

It's totally safe to pack your GPU without an ESD bag. The foam included in the original packaging is also ESD-safe, so you're covered there! The bag is just an extra precaution, not a necessity. Many protective materials, like that pink bubble wrap, are designed to handle static, too.
Good to know! I felt a bit uneasy about it, but you've made me feel better!
Your GPU will be just fine! If you're still worried, you can use a paper bag as an additional layer of protection, but honestly, the original box should do the job nicely.
When I moved, I bubble wrapped my GPU and kept it inside the case. It survived a long trip across the country, so packing it in the original box should be fine as well!
ESD bags are pretty cheap on Amazon if you decide you want one, but there’s no real need if you’re using the original packing materials.
Thanks for the assurance! I'm just being extra cautious since I'm moving soon and want to avoid any damage during transit.
