Is it okay to use two SSDs in my setup?

I'm currently using a 500GB WD SN770 SSD and I'm thinking about upgrading my storage. My motherboard has two slots, so I could either add another 500GB SSD or go for a 1TB one. I'm curious if getting another 500GB SSD would negatively affect performance, or if they would just show up as separate drives on my computer.

I get why you might worry about having two SSDs, but it’s common to run multiple drives. Just keep things organized and you should be fine!

You can totally add another 500GB SSD. It won't slow anything down, as they work independently. Just keep in mind they'll be recognized as separate drives by your system.

Nah, having two SSDs is fine! I have multiple drives in my setup without issues. Just make sure to manage your data properly across them.

There’s no downside to having two SSDs, really. If you need extra space, go for it! They're not going to explode your computer or anything crazy. Just make sure you know how to handle the storage properly!
