Is It Possible to Combine Two Hard Drives in Windows?

I have a main Windows drive and an empty drive with 2.72 Terabytes of storage. I'm curious if there's a way to merge the two drives into one single drive in Windows, or at least use the extra space effectively. Any suggestions?

You could technically set them up in a RAID 0 array and install Windows on that setup, but I wouldn’t recommend it. It would allow you to use more of the space, but if either drive fails, you lose all your data. Why not just keep the second drive as a backup or for storing files? That way you don't risk losing everything.

It really depends on whether these are partitions or separate drives. If they're partitions on the same drive, you might be able to merge them. But if they're different drives, you can only mount one as a folder within the other. Unfortunately, there's no way to combine them into one logical storage unit in Windows.

Using your smaller drive for Windows and keeping the other drive for dynamic storage could be an option. But honestly, there's not much benefit in merging them. Just use the second drive for extra space for files and backups.
