I'm having some trouble with a dual boot setup between Windows 10 and Fedora Ultramarine. I can't boot into Windows 10 at all anymore and while I can still access my Windows files, I'm not able to restore my lost partition. I want to restore Windows and its applications using an Acronis backup, but I'm wondering if I can run the Windows version of Acronis with Wine or a similar application on Linux to access the recovery function. Has anyone done something like this?

From what I've seen, there is indeed an Acronis version for Linux, but it's not usually this version that can be accessed through Wine. I suggest checking if there are any Linux alternatives that might allow you to handle your backups effectively. Worth a shot!
Did you create a recovery disk using Acronis when you took backups? If so, you should be able to use that to get your Windows back. It can be a lifesaver!
I did make a thumb drive for recovery, but unfortunately, it won't connect to my NAS where the backups are. So now it feels pretty useless.

I did some digging too, and it seems that many users have had success with alternate recovery tools on Linux, which might save you the hassle of using Wine.
