I'm considering building my own PC instead of letting Microcenter assemble it for me, especially since it would allow me to upgrade to a 5070 Ti. To be honest, I'm slightly worried about the process. Can someone set my expectations? Is it truly as straightforward as following a YouTube video guide? I really want to avoid spending that $250 if possible.

Absolutely, building a PC yourself is totally doable! It’s really not as tough as you might think. Just take your time, read the manuals, and follow along with a good video guide! You'll handle it just fine!
Just keep in mind though, if something goes wrong, it can be a lot of work to fix. I learned that the hard way!
