I'm trying to figure out if I can connect a type B power adapter to a type A to type C adapter for my laptop. Specifically, I have a type B to type A adapter and a type A to type C adapter. Will this setup work without damaging either my laptop or the cables? I urgently need to charge my laptop while I'm traveling for exams!

Connecting those might work, but I'd be concerned about safety. The ideal solution is always to use the correct adapter for your specific needs. Since you're traveling soon, maybe see if you can borrow or buy the right one quickly?

Thanks for the advice! I was really worried about not being able to charge my laptop for the exams.

I’d be cautious with that setup. If your laptop actually charges via type C, mixing adapters like that could lead to issues. It’s best to avoid any strange combinations to keep everything safe. Just get the right adapter for peace of mind!

Definitely! Safety first, especially when it comes to your laptop. If you're in a hurry, maybe check local stores for a proper type C adapter.
