I've been having trouble with my PC lately. The only way I can get it to turn on is by holding the power button while I switch on the PSU. Is this a safe method to continue using until I sort out the problem, or should I just keep my PC in sleep mode for now?

It’s best not to keep doing that. Holding the power button could be a sign of an underlying issue with your PSU. Get a new, high-quality PSU as soon as you can to avoid risking damage to your other components if the issue persists.
I actually replaced the PSU already, and the issue didn’t go away, so keep that in mind. You might want to check other components to see if they could be causing the problem.
What are your PC specs? It might help to diagnose the problem better!
