I recently connected my external monitor, which has a 100Hz refresh rate, to my MacBook Air M1 and I'm curious if playing League of Legends at 100 FPS could potentially harm my laptop. Should I consider lowering the FPS to 60 instead?

No worries! Playing at 100 FPS won't harm your MacBook Air. It's designed to handle that kind of load without any issues.

If you don’t notice any lag or performance issues, just go ahead and enjoy the game at 100 FPS! It should be all good.

Honestly, it’s fine. The FPS might make the machine a little warmer during gameplay, but it’s nothing to stress about.
