I accidentally ended up with 32GB of CL36 6000MT RAM instead of the CL30 I intended to buy. It's currently the cheapest option available in the UK at £289. I don't plan on overclocking, but I'm wondering if the difference between CL36 and CL30 will significantly impact my gaming performance, especially since I mainly play AAA and FPS titles. Should I keep this RAM or return it?

The price for going from CL36 to CL30 isn't worth it. It might be optimal for AMD processors, but you won't really feel a difference in actual gaming performance. Just use what you have and enjoy your build!
To really give you better advice, knowing your entire setup would help. But in general, if you’re using an X3D chip, you won’t experience noticeable drops as it uses the cache more efficiently. So don’t stress about the RAM latency too much!
You’re all good! Honestly, the difference between CL36 and CL30 at 6000 MT/s is pretty minimal. You likely won't notice any drop in FPS in your games, so it makes sense to just keep the RAM and avoid the hassle of returning it.
Just keep it! The performance difference is negligible. I mean, it might be just about 2-3 FPS at most. I had a similar situation and compared RAM latencies, and it's hardly noticeable in real use. Plus, returning it only complicates things for a tiny gain.
