I've been struggling with my Samsung Galaxy A02 overheating while charging, and I'm looking for a quick solution. Would putting my phone in the fridge help cool it off, or are there better options I should consider?

You might think putting your overheated phone in the fridge could help, but it's a really bad idea. Doing that can expose the internal parts to moisture, which can cause short circuits and serious damage in the long run. It's better to find an alternative solution instead.

Totally get that! It's tough to wait, but yeah, moisture is a big risk. What about keeping it on a metal surface while charging to help with heat?

Instead of the fridge, try putting your phone on a metal surface while it charges. It can act like a heat sink, helping to draw away some of the heat. Also, talk to your mom about getting a new battery or even a new phone if this keeps happening!

Just avoid the fridge. When you take it out, humidity builds up, which isn't good. Keeping a fire extinguisher close might be a wise move if the phone's overheating regularly. Better safe than sorry!

Just a heads-up: if your phone is overheating often, it might be time for a battery change. A degrading battery not only affects performance but could also lead to a fire hazard! Always good to take that seriously.

I've been telling my mom that. But I'm only 14, so I can't really get it fixed myself.
