Is it safe to take my Nothing Phone 3A into the pool?

Hey everyone! I recently got a Nothing Phone 3A and I'm curious about its water resistance. Can I safely submerge it in a swimming pool? I know some phones handle splashes and rain, but I'm not sure if this one can withstand pool water, especially with chlorine. Has anyone tested this? Also, is it safe to use in the shower? Thanks!

Honestly, even with any water resistance, it's a bad idea to purposely submerge your phone. It's mostly for accidental spills, not planned dips. Unless you have a specific reason to take it underwater, I wouldn't risk it!

The Nothing Phone 3A has an IP64 rating, which means it's protected from dust and light water splashes but definitely not designed for submersion. While it might handle a short dip, it’s really not a safe bet to take it into the pool.

The IP64 rating is pretty low for waterproofing—only small splashes are considered safe. So, don't dip it in the pool. As for the shower, I'd say be really careful, but don't expect it to handle full immersion.

Yeah, I agree! It’s definitely more about resisting accidents than being fully waterproof. Better safe than sorry!
