I'm curious if a smaller enclosed case will have enough airflow for a 5090 FE graphics card. I know that the 5090 tends to run hot, so my goal is to find a compact case that still offers decent cooling. The setup would include 2 120mm fans on the front or top, 1 on the back, and a diagonal bottom fan. Here's a link to the case I'm considering: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0B6YHDB2Y?ref_=ppx_hzsearch_conn_dt_b_fed_asin_title_1&th=1.

Yes, you can make it work! The key is to have good fan placement. Make sure you have a couple of intake fans at the bottom and exhaust fans at the top or rear. The specific size of the case doesn’t really matter; it’s more about how effectively the fans can move air. Even in a smaller case, having 5 fans can provide the same airflow as in a larger case!
Why go for the FE model anyway? Those premium graphics cards often come with fancy heat sinks that can handle heat better, so it might seem worth considering less expensive options if cooling is your main concern. But if you already have the case, the FE fits well and might be your best choice!
That’s true! I found that non-FE models I looked at were too big for the case and wouldn’t fit well without touching the front fan.
Good question! If you’re going for the FE, it's the compact design that might be a factor. Just remember, the newer H5 Flow model has improved ventilation, which could help. Having bottom intake fans is a game changer for cooling in smaller setups because it helps pull air directly under the GPU.

Gotcha! I forgot to mention that my case includes the diagonal fan at the bottom. I'm not sure if I can add another fan down there, but I plan to check it out.
