I accidentally unplugged my PC while it was on while getting ready to move to a new apartment. I usually see people unplugging from the outlet side first, but I unplugged it from the PC side instead. Afterward, I turned it back on, and everything seems fine, even my disks checked out okay. Should I be worried about any hidden damage or issues after unplugging it this way? Is there a risk of electricity arcing when I unplug like that?

No need to worry about arcing; it doesn’t matter if you unplug from the tower or the wall. The only risk would be if you were in the middle of writing to a disk, which could cause corruption, but since you checked the disks and they're fine, you're safe!
If your PC powered back on and is functioning normally, you're in the clear! There's a fuse in the power supply that would prevent damage, and it seems like that didn't blow. You're good to go!
Most likely nothing happened unless you were really yanking it around. Unplugging quickly is similar to a power outage—not a power surge. If it booted up fine, there’s no reason to be concerned at all!
Think of it like a sudden power cut. It happens all the time and usually doesn’t hurt your computer. Just remember to properly shut it down next time before unplugging.
You’re fine! Unplugging from the PC side is actually safer since it breaks the circuit there first. Just keep in mind that if the system was writing, data corruption could happen, but it sounds like you dodged that bullet this time.
