I'm looking for advice on whether it's safe to use a different external power cable for my power supply unit (PSU). I have an NZXT C750 (2022) that I'm reusing, and while I've got all the necessary cables for the motherboard and GPU, I can't find the original power cable. I think I lost it when I moved during the COVID period. Can someone help me understand if another cable is a safe option? Thanks in advance!

Just make sure that the wall-end of the cable has 3 pins. Some older or cheaper cables might only have 2, and those won’t work.
If you're using a 3-pin cable, that's fine. Just make sure it's rated for the correct voltage and amps. Always check the specs to avoid any issues!
Yeah, you can definitely use a different cable! In my experience spanning over 40 years, I've never run into a situation where an alternate cable didn't work as expected.
Got it, thanks! I'll check those specs.
