Is it safe to use magnets inside my PC?

I just finished building my first PC, and I'm still learning the ropes. Everything seems perfect except for one problem: my Lian Li 8.8 inch display isn't sticking properly. I came across some magnets that were recommended to help with this issue, and I wanted to know if it's safe to use them inside my computer. Has anyone else experienced this problem, and what do you think?

If the magnets aren't near an HDD, you should be good. Modern setups don't usually use magnetic storage, so it's less of a concern now.

With the decline of magnetic drives, using household magnets is a lot safer now. There can be some negligible effects, but most users don’t notice any issues. Just keep them away from critical components whenever possible.

Just a heads up, every fan in your PC generates its own magnetic field, so as long as the magnets aren't super strong or placed right on the motherboard, you should be fine. But don’t put them on top of your RAM or processor.

Yeah, magnets are generally fine to use inside your PC! Just make sure you don't place them too close to sensitive components like your CPU or GPU.

You can definitely use those magnets. By the way, how do you like that screen? I'm thinking about getting one for my build too!
