I've got an old work laptop that they never asked me to return, and it's been sitting for over a year now. I'm thinking about wiping it clean so I can use it without any corporate restrictions. I've disabled the Wi-Fi on it and even took a screenshot from Disk Manager to show how it's set up. Can someone guide me on how to properly wipe this laptop? If you need more information, just let me know!

You can definitely wipe it! A good way would be to create a Linux USB installer to wipe everything. But will that completely free it from corporate ties? It's hard to say based on your screenshot alone. The company may have set up some mobile device management (MDM), which could still keep track of the laptop even after a wipe.
Wiping it is possible, but if they used MDM, it might pose a challenge since they may not have released it. You could check the BIOS settings to see if there's any indication of MDM being active.
Yeah, go for it! Since they don't seem to want it back, it's yours now. Just make sure you wipe it thoroughly.
What’s your goal? If you intend to stick with the current OS, it could be tricky if your company had the enterprise version of Windows. If you don't mind switching to Linux, creating a bootable USB to wipe Windows and install Linux could be a good solution!
