Is it smart to use Java for DSA and Python for development?

I've been dabbling with both Java and Python, but I'm not a pro at either yet. I've completed a couple of full-stack projects and some machine learning work using Python, but I haven't really used Java in any projects. I've noticed that many companies, especially MNCs, often have coding interviews in Java, and it seems like a lot of people transition to Java from different languages to get hired. Given all this, is it a good idea to stick with both? Since I don't have anyone experienced to ask for advice, I'd love to hear what you all think!

As you're heading into your final year, getting a grasp on Java for DSA makes sense since many tech interviews focus on that. However, you don't have to abandon Python. You can choose to specialize in Java for coding, while keeping Python as your go-to for development. It’s about finding a balance that fits your career goals, especially as a fresher!

Think about your goals—what do you need both languages for? You might find that Java does fit well for DSA since many companies lean that way, while Python can serve your development projects nicely. Ultimately, using both can be beneficial, but mastering one might give you a solid edge when you really need it. It's all about finding what works best for you!
