Is it the right time to buy a GPU?

I'm grappling with the fear of missing out (FOMO) on a potential price hike for GPUs and other computer parts. I've been using an R5 5600 and a 6700 XT for about two years, and while my setup handles CPU-intensive games like Deadlock and Manor Lords decently, I'm curious about the new title Dawn of the Daywalker. I missed the chance to upgrade when RAM prices spiked, and I'm now considering whether I should just go for a 9070 XT before prices rise even further.

From my experience, if you can afford it and need a new GPU, don’t hesitate. I recently upgraded and while FOMO was a factor, I’m glad I did it before the imminent price increases.

Totally agree! I recently made the leap from a 6700 XT to a 9070 XT, and I'm feeling confident about it.

Yeah, I think I've missed out a bit too. I’m seeing rising costs everywhere!

I’ve been running on an old 1070 since 2018, and while it’s served me well, I agree it might be time to upgrade. The market isn’t going to get any cheaper, and if you've got specific games you're looking forward to, it might be worth jumping in now.

I hear you! 'Diablo Immortal' really pushes my setup to its limits because of poor optimization.

Just because it works now doesn’t mean it will in a few months. If you're interested in new titles, an upgrade might be wise.

If you're hesitating about whether to buy a GPU right now, it sounds like you might already have your answer. The longer you wait, the higher the chances you'll end up paying more.

If you think you'll need a new GPU within the next year or so, it’s better to buy it now. Prices won’t drop, and GPU stocks could get even scarcer with the market shifts.

I say go for it! If you're worried about price hikes, it's best to snag a 9070 XT while prices are still reasonable. I've heard that RAM and GPU prices are expected to go up significantly.

I just ordered a 9070 XT too, and the prices already shot up after I made my purchase. You might be missing out if you wait!

But what about the long-term benefits? If you're planning on keeping it for years, the investment could pay off.
