I've got a Ryzen 7 3800X, a 2080 Super, and 32GB of DDR4 RAM at 3600MHz. My rig runs most games at what I think is 1440p (though I might've set it to 1080p by mistake a while ago). While it's mostly acceptable, newer titles like Cyberpunk and Monster Hunter: World can be a bit of a struggle, especially with demanding settings like ray tracing—I've kept those off and turned some other options down to medium.
Given the rising prices of PC components, I'm wondering if it's smart to upgrade to a Ryzen 9 9950X3D and a 5070 Ti now to avoid future price hikes and scarcity. Or should I just make do with what I've got for another couple of years and see how things go?

Honestly, if you can swing it, upgrading soon makes sense. Prices for parts are only going to climb, and waiting might mean spending more down the line.

When you say 'soon', do you mean in the next year or two? Just trying to gauge how urgent this is.
