I've been using a Ryzen 5 2600 with an ASUS PRIME B450M-A motherboard, an EVGA GTX 1070 graphics card, a Samsung 860 EVO M.2 500GB SSD, and 16GB of Kingston HyperX RAM in a Corsair Air 240 case. I've had this setup since 2018, while my monitor (Samsung S23B550V) has lasted even longer, but I'm starting to see some issues, like a horizontal line showing up. I mainly use my computer for browsing, watching YouTube, listening to music, and videos. I initially wanted to play MS Flight Simulator, but it hasn't worked out. I've noticed some slowdowns, especially with AI applications and even basic browsing, but they don't bother me too much. Looking back, I wonder if I should've chosen Intel instead.

You didn't make a mistake going with Ryzen; it has served you well! If you have a specific budget in mind, or if you're leaning towards a completely new build, let us know. That will help narrow down your options.
Your current setup can definitely be upgraded without breaking the bank! A BIOS update followed by dropping in a Ryzen 5800XT for under $200 or a 9060XT for around $350 can give you a major performance boost. For about $500 overall, you could effectively have a brand new PC!
That sounds like a solid plan! I'm all for getting a bit more life out of a current system.
Your PC is still perfectly capable for what you do. If you're looking for a small boost, consider picking up a used Ryzen 3600. Just ensure your BIOS is updated first. And about those slowdowns on Facebook Marketplace, that might be due to some software issues rather than hardware. Also, investing in a new monitor—maybe a 1440p or even a 4K one—could make a huge difference in your experience!

I’m actually open to a new build, but I'm not set on any budget. Just feeling like maybe I overpaid initially.
