Hey everyone! I'm building a new PC soon and looking to upgrade from my 1660ti. I'm considering getting a 5070, but I'm curious if I should hold off until we at least see the 5070 Super. Right now, the 5070 is at MSRP, which is tempting! Also, does anyone have insights on how tough it was to snag the 4070 Supers at MSRP last gen? I have a Micro Center nearby, so hopefully, that gives me an edge.

Just go for it! Don't let the fear of missing out hold you back. The 5070 is a great upgrade, and there's always going to be a better card around the corner. You're gonna love it! 👍
Just got my 5070Ti last week! Didn't want to be stuck waiting like I was before, so I pulled the trigger. Pretty happy with that decision!
I say buy it now! Waiting for the Super series is risky—who knows when they’ll actually be available at a decent price? Enjoy the gaming experience now rather than waiting for something that may never come soon. You'll always find something newer down the line anyway.
Just a heads up, if you’re gaming at 4K, the 5070 might not be sufficient. But for 1440p, it’s a solid choice! Remember, 5070 Supers might not be at MSRP for quite a while—and the Ti offers more VRAM, which can be critical down the line.
If you're eyeing a deal, waiting for Black Friday could be worthwhile! You might snag something better for a good price then.
If you can hold off, it might be worth it, but keep in mind the Super versions might be hard to come by and overpriced due to scalping. The 5070 isn't as bad as people say – it handles overclocking like a champ! Sure, 12GB of VRAM may not sound impressive, but I've played most games just fine at 1440p, with a few exceptions.

Totally agree! I play Doom on my 5070 at high settings with DLSS and RT on, and I'm consistently hitting around 170FPS at 1440. It's a great card!
