Is It Time to Replace My Old Power Supply?

I recently built a new PC with a 5070 graphics card and a 9600x CPU, but I reused the power supply (PSU) from my old setup. It's an 850w bronze unit that's around 7 years old. While it works, the fan is constantly running at full speed, and it's louder than a PS4. I'm considering buying a new 650w or 750w PSU. Should I go ahead and change it?

Yeah, I recommend getting a new PSU. Yours is outdated and super noisy. Since you upgraded your entire PC, it's a good idea to get a reliable power supply to match.

I can’t find any reasonably priced 750w units. Do you think a 650w would work, or is that pushing it?
