Hey everyone! I've been rocking an MSI Gaming X Trio 3080 since its release, and I got it for the original price after waiting in line, which was totally worth it. Now, five years later, with games getting more demanding, I'm thinking about an upgrade. I usually play Monster Hunter World and I'm fine with lower graphics settings for better fps. However, my girlfriend has an older GPU (maybe a 1060 or 1070?) that doesn't perform well, so I thought I might buy a new card for myself and give her my 3080 to boost her gaming.

Have you considered going for a Radeon GPU? If you don’t really need NVIDIA features like DLSS and CUDA, you might get more value with something like the 7900 XT. I got mine for around $850 and I’ve had zero complaints!
The 5070 Ti or 9070 XT are probably your best bets right now, especially with the tariff prices we’re seeing. They’re about 45% faster than your 3080, so it could be a solid upgrade!
Thank you! That's really helpful 😀
I’m open to anything! The more bang for my buck, the better!
