I've had my custom-built PC for about 3 to 4 years now, and I'm starting to notice it becoming sluggish. Games are having trouble downloading, updating, or even starting without issues. Here's my current setup:
- **Processor**: AMD Ryzen 7 1700X Eight-Core, 3400 MHz
- **Motherboard**: ROG STRIX B450-F Gaming Ver. 1.xx
- **Graphics Card**: Radeon RX 580 Series
I'm running Windows 10 and usually update my drivers through Task Manager. I'm unsure if the problem is driver-related or if some components are simply outdated. Any advice on what I should upgrade or change would be appreciated! Thanks!

You've got a decent setup, but there are definitely options to modernize it. I suggest checking for BIOS updates first. Then, you could swap your processor for something like the Ryzen 5700X at around $150 or the 5900X for about $250. If you want super high FPS, consider the 5700/5800X3D, which is also around $250. Also, if you don’t have 32GB of RAM, it's time for an upgrade there, too! Hope that helps!
Honestly, your PC was already a bit behind when you built it a few years ago. How much are you looking to spend on upgrades? That'll help narrow down the options for you.
Yeah, I get that it's not cheap. I'm just trying to find out what parts you recommend so I can figure out my budget from there.
