Is It Time to Upgrade My Graphics Card for Gaming?

Hey everyone! I'm moving overseas and I'm evaluating my current PC setup which includes an AMD R3500, an MSI B450 Mortar Max motherboard, an RTX 2070 Super graphics card, and 16GB of Corsair RAM. I'm considering what parts I should keep for the move and what I might need to replace. I'm leaning toward keeping the motherboard and upgrading the graphics card. What are some good graphics cards available now? I usually game on titles like Valorant and Dota 2 at 1080p, but I'm thinking of switching to a 1440p monitor. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I suggest going with a 5700X3D and aim for 32GB of RAM. That setup should really help you in performance for the 4070 series or the 5070 if you ever decide to get one. Just keep in mind that it depends on the games you're playing and your desired graphics settings!

I'd definitely recommend upgrading the GPU! You could look into getting a 7900 XT if your budget allows. If you're looking for something a bit cheaper, a 7600 XT should handle 1080p gaming well and even do okay at 1440p for lighter titles. Also, consider updating your BIOS to support a new Ryzen 5000-series CPU later on! A 5700X3D would be a solid choice since it works well with your current motherboard. Maybe bump up your RAM too if you have the chance.
