Is It Time to Upgrade My PC Components?

I'm considering whether I need to upgrade any components in my current setup: I've got an Intel Core i7 12700k CPU, 32 GB of DDR4 RAM running at 1800 MHz, an ASUS Prime Z690-P D4 motherboard, and an Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080. Everything runs well so far, but I'm curious about any potential upgrades I should be looking at in the near future.

I'd recommend looking into upgrading your RAM. Switching to DDR4 3200 CL16 or even better could give your system a nice performance boost. Just make sure it's compatible!

Just a heads up, I think MemoryMaven means 3600 MT/s for the RAM, which actually corresponds to 1800 MHz. 1800 MT/s DDR4 isn't available.

I found the Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro SL 32 GB DDR4 3600 MHz C18 locally, would that be a good choice?

Since your setup is running well currently, you might not need an upgrade. If you’re looking for better FPS in certain games, check your GPU usage while playing. If it’s maxed out at 100%, then consider a better GPU; if not, you might just need a better CPU.

If I were you, I'd wait this generation out. Prices are pretty high right now, but once they level off, you might consider something like a 9070 XT for an upgrade.
