I've recently turned 18 and I've started saving up some money toward building my own PC. I'm curious if I should go ahead and buy the parts myself or just stick with my laptop for now. Right now, the RAM prices seem really high, and I'm wondering if I should have just saved more when I was younger. I've put together a potential build which includes:
- Gigabyte B550M DS3H Motherboard (Socket AM4)
- AMD Ryzen 5 5600 Processor (4.4GHz, 35MB Cache, Socket AM4)
- Gigabyte Radeon RX 7600 GAMING OC GPU (8GB GDDR6)
- Kingston FURY Beast RAM (16GB DDR4, 3200MHz CL16)
- Verbatim Vi3000 SSD (1TB PCIe Gen.3 NVMe M.2)
- DeepCool PK650D PSU (650W, non-modular, 80 Plus Bronze)
- Aerocool Hexform V2 Case
The total cost is around €825. I'm looking for your thoughts on whether this build is a good deal or if it's better to wait until RAM prices drop.

If you're considering an Intel setup, the i5-14400F can be a good way to go. But I noticed the Ryzen 5 5600 is often cheaper. Just make sure to choose the right motherboard to get the best performance!
Your build looks solid! It's a great choice for gaming and general use, though upgrading later might be limited. If you're open to it, check for used parts on marketplaces; sometimes, you can score a better deal and save some cash.

Thanks for the tip! I looked into it, and the Intel i5-14400F does seem pricier than my current choice. Do you have a recommended motherboard for it?
