My RX 580 has finally given out after working well for months. It was mainly used in my kid's PC for some light gaming, including playing Elden Ring. Right now, the computer is fine since it's relying on the onboard GPU, but I'd like to get a dedicated graphics card again. I thought about just replacing the RX 580, but I'm seeing a lot of unbranded options out there. Should I risk it and go for one of those, or is there a better alternative from a reputable brand at a similar price point? It seems some newer models might not even match the RX 580's performance.

I wouldn't recommend buying another RX 580. Have you checked out the Arc B580? It's actually a better option and has a funny coincidence with the naming!
If you're leaning towards a new card, consider picking up a used RX 6600 instead of settling for another RX 580. Just keep in mind that prices can be a bit higher for the 6600 compared to the 580, but it's worth it for the performance.
Before making a decision, where are you located? You might find better deals in local shops or resale sites.

Yeah, I noticed the RX 6600 prices are around 100EUR more than the RX 580. It's a bit steep, but if it's worth the upgrade, I might have to consider it.
