I'm trying to decide whether to buy a 7800XT for $425 or a 6800XT for $300 plus shipping. Someone is offering the 6800XT, which seems like a great deal considering eBay prices. I also need to upgrade my PSU, so I'm looking for some advice. As a side note, I've noticed that the 6900XT is also around $425—should I consider that instead? My gaming will mostly be at 1080p, possibly 2K, preferably targeting 90fps.

The 6800XT is a solid card, especially if you're not into scaling. I'd suggest saving that extra $125 from the 7800XT for some sweet RGB lighting to spruce up your build!
The 7800XT is only about 10% faster than the 6800XT, so if you're not planning to use upscaling, I'd say go for the cheaper 6800XT. But if you're looking at upscaling and better graphics, the 7800XT is worth the extra cash due to how well it handles FSR. Plus, the 6900XT could be a strong option if you're also considering it for the same price.
If you're thinking about raw power, have you checked out the 6950XT? It's an absolute beast without any of the fancy features. Definitely worth considering for a future-proof setup.
Absolutely! I got my 6950XT at Microcenter a while back, and it's been amazing for my mITX build. Compact and powerful!

Yeah, upscaling with AMD isn't bad, but the performance hit can be noticeable if you push it too hard. If you can manage higher resolutions instead, that might be a smarter play.
