Hey everyone! I'm starting my computer science journey at a local engineering college this year. So far, I've picked up HTML and I'm currently learning CSS. I'm curious if diving into full stack development is worth it for my future career. Any tips or insights? I want to put in the effort and even if there's uncertainty about job prospects, I'd rather face challenges now and gain experience. What do you think?

HTML and CSS are definitely foundational skills for web development, so they’re worth learning! While you're studying, focus on building a portfolio with projects and consider applying for internships. As you get deeper into your studies, don't forget to prepare for coding interviews with platforms like LeetCode. The job market can be tough, but getting that first job will make everything easier going forward!
I've learned full stack too, but honestly, finding work has been challenging. Some of my classmates are in the same boat. It’s a mixed bag—while companies seek full stack developers, they often prefer candidates who excel in specific areas. So, if you're just starting out, focus on mastering one part of the stack before claiming full stack experience!
What should I do then?
That’s tough! Do you have any projects to show?
These days, being full stack is becoming a baseline expectation rather than a bonus in junior roles. I don’t see many postings for entry-level positions, but when I do, they usually expect knowledge in both front and back-end technologies.
Thanks for the advice!
