I'm looking to buy RAM and found that 32GB of 6000MHz CL30 costs €45 more than 32GB of 6000MHz CL36. Is the difference in latency significant enough to justify the price increase?

Nope, I don't think it's worth the extra cost. From what I understand, the performance boost is only around 1-3%. That's not a big deal for most uses.

Honestly, I wouldn’t pay that much more. The price difference is pretty steep given the minimal performance gain. There are definitely other considerations too, but they might not even be relevant here.

Have you checked what motherboard you have? It’s also essential to ensure it supports the maximum frequency. CL is a significant factor for speed, but a €45 difference is a lot for such a small gain.

I wouldn't go with four sticks of RAM for upgrades. If you want more memory, just grab a 64GB kit and sell your old RAM on a local marketplace instead.

I feel like there might be some value in paying more for the faster RAM... but what are your reasons for wanting that extra performance?
