I recently upgraded my CPU from a 10700F to a 9700X, and I got some RAM for free with my motherboard. It's a 2x16GB kit running at 6400MHz with CL38 timings. I'm curious if switching to a RAM kit that has lower latency but maintains the same speed would make a noticeable difference in performance. I mainly use my PC for gaming and streaming, so I want to know if it's worth the investment.

Also, running with two sticks instead of four can increase stability. A 2x32GB setup is usually better than 4x16GB, so keep that in mind if you ever decide to upgrade.
You could overclock your current RAM to push its limits! That might give you the performance boost without having to swap kits.
Honestly, don't worry about it. You've already got a decent kit, and the performance difference might not even be noticeable, especially in gaming or streaming. If you’re already using the 6400MHz kit, spending an extra $90 on a lower latency kit might not be worth it.
That's true! Plus, stability can be an issue with 6400MHz on Ryzen systems, so you might need to dial it back anyway.
Definitely worth a shot! Just make sure your board can handle it.
