Is It Worth Upgrading from 4070 Ti SUPER to 5070 Ti, or Should I Wait for the 5070 Ti SUPER?

Hey everyone! I've currently got a 4070 Ti SUPER and just picked up a PNY 5070 Ti ARGB OC on sale for 799 euros (down from 889 euros). I'm wondering if I should go through with this upgrade or consider holding onto my current card. Here are my thoughts and questions:

1. Is the 5070 Ti a solid upgrade? I could sell my 4070 Ti SUPER for about 650-700 euros. Would it make sense to keep it, return the 5070 Ti, and wait for the 5070 Ti SUPER with 24 GB VRAM?
2. If I decide to keep my card, how will the resale value of the 4070 Ti SUPER hold up after the 50's SUPER releases? Will people prefer the 5070 SUPER with 18GB VRAM over my used 4070 Ti SUPER?

Just to give you some context:
- I don't play games that use PhysX 32.
- I'm looking for better performance in Vray and Blender.
- I mostly play FPS games like Battlefield, Overwatch, Borderlands, and might dive into some single-player story modes down the line.

Would love to hear your thoughts and insights!

Here’s my take: once the 5070 SUPER drops, we’re going to see more cards available for everyone. It could cause prices to go up, especially for the 4070 Ti. I'd wait it out for the 24 GB option since that's likely the better bet for future-proofing, especially for 3D work.

That’s kind of what I’m worried about too. I really want the 24GB VRAM for my projects, but I’m afraid I’ll have to sell for less when the new models come out.

Honestly, the 5070 Ti is only about 10-15% better than the 4070 Ti SUPER. So unless you enjoy the process of selling and rebuying cards, I'd say stick with what you've got!

Haha, I don’t enjoy that either. It’s just such a hassle to keep switching!
