I'm considering upgrading my graphics card from a 6700XT to a 9070XT. I mostly play single-player games and like to play at 4K or 1440p when possible. As long as the gameplay is smooth, I don't really care about framerate. My monitor supports 144Hz, but I'm not prioritizing that right now; I'm thinking of it as a future investment. I have a budget of $1700, and I'm also considering buying an OLED WQHD monitor along with the upgrade. I currently have a 13600K CPU and 32GB DDR4 RAM.

Upgrading is a great idea! The 9070XT is a fantastic card for 1440p and does well at 4K too. Plus, you'll get better support for newer tech like FSR 4, which can really improve your gaming experience!
Just to clarify, the 9700XT doesn't exist, so I'm assuming you're referring to the 9070XT or the 7900XT. Both of those will give you a serious upgrade over your 6700XT. You'll definitely see a significant performance enhancement!
If you're talking about the 9070XT, then yes, it's definitely worth it! I made the jump from a 6700XT to a 9070XT and the performance boost is noticeable, especially for 1440p gaming. The newer card handles upscaling and ray tracing way better too!
Totally agree, the extra features like FSR 4 make a big difference for both performance and quality.

Exactly, and with your current setup, you'll really appreciate the graphics boost!
