Is It Worth Upgrading from a 75Hz to a Higher Refresh Rate Monitor?

Hey everyone! I recently built a PC with an AMD RX 9060 XT and got a 27-inch 1440p monitor, but it's only 75Hz. I've heard that playing games like Fortnite competitively is tough on 75Hz and that moving to 160Hz or more could really help improve my gameplay. I didn't notice much difference when I upgraded from 60Hz to 75Hz, so I'm hesitant about making another jump. Does anyone have thoughts on whether the upgrade would be beneficial?

Honestly, tests show that playing at 60 FPS is usually the worst, and with how affordable high refresh rate monitors have become, it's a great time to make the switch if you're serious about gaming. You'll likely notice a better experience in competitive games.

If you're into FPS games, upgrading to at least 144Hz is definitely worth considering. Your CPU, the Ryzen 5 7500F, should perform fine with higher refresh rates, so go for it!

I also think you'll see some improvement, especially during fast-paced action. I play on a higher refresh rate, and it definitely changes my reaction times!
