Hey everyone! I'm considering upgrading my graphics card from a GTX 1650 to an RTX 5060. I've got a solid CPU and plenty of RAM, and the 5060 seems to fit my budget while being compatible with my i5 (10th generation). I mainly play games like Roblox (I know, I know) and War Thunder, aiming for decent FPS (around 60) and good graphics without putting a huge strain on my wallet. Is the 5060 a good choice for my setup, or should I look for something else?

I saw some comparisons between the 9060 XT and the RTX 5060, and the 9060 XT usually comes out on top for the price. Plus, you might find it with better VRAM options. If you can spend a little more, it could be worth checking out!
If you're set on the RTX 5060, go for it! It will definitely be a nice upgrade from the 1650. Just keep in mind that it has only 8GB of VRAM, which could be a limitation in some newer titles, especially if you're planning to game at higher resolutions. Just a heads up—if you can find a RX 9060 XT for around the same price, that would give you more VRAM and possibly better performance!
That’s true! And remember, it's also about what games you play. For Roblox and War Thunder, the 5060 should handle them just fine, but if you play anything more demanding, consider the extra VRAM.
Honestly, the RTX 5060 is decent, but by 2025, I wouldn’t recommend buying an 8GB card. The next generation games might outgrow that. If you're willing to wait or look for used options, you might score a better deal with more VRAM.
Thanks for the tip! I’ll look into the 9060 XT options and see if they fit my budget better.
