Hey everyone! I'm currently using a Ryzen 3 3300X with an RX 6600 and 16GB of RAM on a B450M-A motherboard. I've been experiencing 100% CPU usage when playing games like Warzone and the new Battlefield, likely due to a CPU bottleneck. I'm on a tight budget, but I'm considering upgrading to a Ryzen 5 5600. How significant of an upgrade would it be, and is it compatible with my motherboard? Thanks!

You can expect a 30-40% performance increase with the Ryzen 5 5600 since it comes with more cores that games can utilize better.

If the 5600 is within your budget, it's definitely a solid choice! It performs really well with most games and pairs nicely with your RX 6600. I've had that combo on an older rig and it worked beautifully!

That's great to hear! I've been struggling with 100% CPU usage in games like Warzone, so I'm hoping this will help smooth things out.

Yes, the Ryzen 5 5600 will give you a nice performance boost, and it should work with your B450 motherboard, though you might need to update the BIOS. If you've recently updated it, you should be good to go!

Awesome, I updated my BIOS about three months ago, so I think I'll be alright!
