Is it worth upgrading from DDR5 5600 to 6000 for my new PC?

I'm building a new PC with a 9800x3d processor and planning to use DDR5 RAM at 5600 speed. I've heard that upgrading to DDR5 6000 could significantly boost my performance, but with RAM prices being so high right now, I'm hesitant. I'd love to hear your thoughts on whether the performance gain is worth the extra expense.

Honestly, the jump in FPS from 5600 to 6000 is pretty minor. Unless you're doing something super intensive, you won't notice much difference.

Thanks for the insight! I expected a bigger impact since everyone talks about RAM speeds.

Totally get that, but you might be fine just sticking with what you have.

The 3D vCache on the X3D CPUs makes RAM less of a performance factor. Just grab whatever is affordable without stressing too much over the specs.

Look, buying DDR5 right now with prices being so ridiculous doesn't seem practical. You might enjoy just getting a good deal on DDR5 5600 right now and seeing if you really need the performance later.

Upgrading to DDR5 6000 used to be recommended because it offered great performance for the price, especially for AM5 CPUs. However, with RAM prices soaring, that advice doesn't hold as much weight anymore. It's best to just go with what you can afford right now.
