Is it worth upgrading from Ryzen 7500F to Ryzen 7600X3D?

I'm considering upgrading from my Ryzen 7500F to a Ryzen 7600X3D. The 7600X3D costs about $300 in my country, which seems reasonable compared to the higher-end X3D models. I want to future-proof my AM5 setup, especially since I'll be pairing it with upcoming midrange GPUs that should perform well, like the 5080. My main goal is to play visually stunning AAA single-player games at 1440P. Any thoughts on whether this upgrade is a good move?

Consider the 9700X as well. It performs quite similarly to the 7800X3D, especially with good RAM. It could save you some cash while still meeting your needs.

Honestly, the 7600X3D is a solid choice! It's only about 10% slower than the 7800X3D on average, making it a good budget upgrade, especially if you're primarily into competitive gaming. But check how much the higher-end options cost in your country before deciding!

You might not even need to upgrade right now. Your current setup can handle a 5080 easily, so if you’re not in a hurry, you could hold off for a bit and see how things develop in the market.

If you can save a bit more, consider going for the 7800X3D or even the 9800X3D. They provide a noticeable performance boost and are worth the extra cash in the long run, especially for demanding games.

But is it really worth the extra 200-250 bucks? What do you think about the performance difference?
