Hi everyone! I'm trying to figure out whether I should upgrade my graphics card from the RTX 5070 or if I should downgrade my CPU from the Ryzen 9 9900. Here's my current setup: I've got a Gigabyte Geforce RTX 5070 Windforce SFF, an AMD Ryzen 9 9900X CPU, an ASUS ROG Strix B650E-F motherboard, 32GB of Kingston FURY Beast RGB DDR5 RAM running at 5600MHz, and two Kingston NV3 SSDs. I want a little more power, and I've read that the 5070 and Ryzen 9 9900 may not work perfectly together. Since I'm new to PC building, I'm wondering what the best move is. Thanks in advance!

If you've already got the setup, downgrading the CPU doesn't make much sense right now. But if you haven't bought your parts yet, you might not need such a high-end CPU just for gaming.

That's good to know! If I stick with the 5070, would switching to a Radeon 7900 make a big difference, or should I save my money?
