Hey everyone! I'm considering upgrading my current setup and was wondering if switching to a 1440p monitor is a good idea. Here are my specs: i5 10400f (planning to upgrade to a 10700k soon), RTX 2080 with 8GB of VRAM, and 16GB of RAM at 3200MHz. I primarily play a lot of competitive shooters, especially esports titles. Right now, I have a 32-inch 1080p VA panel locked at 75Hz, and I'm curious if making the leap to 1440p is worth it. Also, what refresh rate should I aim for with my slightly older setup? I've tried playing on a 200Hz+ monitor before and found it overwhelming, but 180Hz and below felt pretty good!

If you're mainly into competitive esports, you should definitely prioritize a high refresh rate monitor, ideally 144Hz or higher. It can really enhance your gameplay!

Are 32-inch 1080p monitors with high refresh rates any good? I have a budget of around $200.
