Hey everyone! I'm currently using a Ryzen 5 5600 with an RX 6650XT, and while I'm happy with my setup for now, I'm experiencing some CPU issues in games like Warzone and Assetto Corsa. I mostly play at 1080p and occasionally dabble in some 1440p AAA titles like Spiderman and TLOU on my TV. I'm considering upgrading my CPU but I'm reluctant to switch to AM5 just yet. I'm looking at either the Ryzen 7 5800X for $167 or the Ryzen 7 5700 for $135. I want to know if upgrading to one of these processors is a good move, and if I will notice a significant difference from my current CPU. What do you think?

I upgraded from a 3950X to a 9950X due to a sale recently, but honestly, I don't see enough difference to make it feel worth the hassle and cost. Sometimes it's smarter to just stick with what you have, especially with the AM4 platform still being solid. If you do consider an upgrade, maybe go for the 5900X or 5950X instead?
I think just a few games benefit from a stronger CPU, but in general, the difference might not be huge. If you’re playing something like Cyberpunk 2077, you may notice a little drop in performance with your current setup, so maybe an upgrade could help.
