I've recently started using Ubuntu and have enjoyed it for the past week. However, I'm looking for more customization options. I've heard that KDE offers greater flexibility compared to GNOME. Should I consider switching to Kubuntu? Is it easy to use and customize for someone new to Linux?

Why not try it out first? You can create a live USB for Kubuntu and test it without fully committing to a switch. If you don’t like it, no harm done!
Switching to Kubuntu isn't hard at all! If you've been getting along fine with Ubuntu, you'll find Kubuntu pretty manageable too. Plus, there are tons of YouTube tutorials available to help you get started. It's a great option if you're looking for more personalization.
Kubuntu is definitely an excellent choice if you want more customization. You could also just install the KDE desktop environment on your existing Ubuntu system! Just make sure your system is up to date and pick one of the KDE packages that fit your needs.
Installing the KDE environment on your Ubuntu setup is simple as well! Just run some commands in the terminal, and you'll be able to choose between GNOME and KDE at login.
